Everything in the Universe

is Within You

— Rumi

Peace is for everyone

At the core of our beings, many of us harbor a profound longing for authentic connection—with both ourselves and others.

We crave intimacy and vulnerability, yet the prospect often fills us with a profound sense of fear. We yearn to transcend our suffering, yet navigating the path to relief can leave us feeling adrift and isolated.

Conditioned to play roles in a superficial world, we unintentionally create disconnection from both ourselves and others.

Consequently, we often endure suffering alone, leading to feelings of isolation and loneliness. The reality is that most people struggle to tolerate vulnerability and deep heart connection.

Yet, it is this very heart connection that unlocks the aliveness within each of us.

By tapping into our authentic life vitality, our unique being, we break free from the suffering endured in a world of disconnection.

What do you want for yourself right now?

the therapy I provide

As children, we develop coping mechanisms to survive in environments that may not be fully nurturing, such as suppressing emotions, avoiding expressing needs, or overextending ourselves for others at the expense of our well-being. These strategies, while helpful at the time, can lead to self-destructive behaviors, depression, mood disorders, eating disorders, and relational challenges. In adulthood, they can create a sense of disconnection from ourselves and others, resulting in ongoing emotional pain and difficulty.

In our work together, we’ll explore what you truly want for your life and uncover the childhood strategies that once helped but are now holding you back. By combining mindfulness, somatic work, and a focus on the mind-body connection, I'll gently guide you to detach from those old patterns. This process is compassionate yet direct, using the Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM) along with my 15 years of experience in psychodynamic, humanistic, and interpersonal therapy approaches to help you reconnect with your true needs and desires.

I offer individual therapy for adults and adolescents, as well as couples therapy.

My approach focuses on helping you gain clarity about what you truly want for yourself, identifying the barriers that are standing in your way, and disengaging from old patterns or strategies that no longer serve your highest good.

Together, we'll work to release what is blocking your path and align you with the life that you want for yourself.

This process is both compassionate and direct, integrating mind, body, and heart. The work we do together connects deeply to the heart, fostering lasting transformation.

Couples therapy follows a similar framework, but instead of each partner focusing solely on their individual desires, we work together to identify a shared vision within the relationship. In addition to this process, couples therapy integrates Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which helps partners deepen their emotional connection, enhance communication, and create a secure, supportive bond.

Modalities I work with

  • The Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM) is a therapeutic approach designed to address complex trauma and its impact on emotional and relational functioning. NARM focuses on how early developmental experiences, particularly those involving attachment and relational trauma, shape an individual's nervous system, emotional responses, and sense of self.

This model emphasizes the connection between the brain, body, and emotions, and it integrates neuroscience with attachment theory to understand how trauma affects the nervous system and relationships. Unlike traditional trauma therapies that focus primarily on the trauma itself, NARM takes a relational and developmental perspective, working with clients to help them reconnect with their true selves, regulate emotions, and heal from past wounds.

NARM aims to restore a sense of agency, self-regulation, and healthy attachment patterns, allowing individuals to experience more fulfilling relationships with themselves and others. It is particularly effective in treating clients who have experienced developmental trauma, neglect, or early emotional wounding. The therapy works on a deep level, targeting both the emotional and physiological aspects of trauma, and encourages personal growth and healing.

  • Shadow Work involves integrating our conscious selves with the aspects of our personality that we typically repress, like our shadow sides. Repression can manifest through denial, resistance, or unawareness. Shadow Work is a deeply meditative experience, that begins with grounding and meditation and then moves into visualization and dialogue with shadow aspects. This is generally done lying down with eyes closed.

By approaching these aspects with love and tenderness, we learn to embrace and welcome the darkness within us. It's within this embrace that true healing unfolds. Often, we're unaware of what lies behind our fear, disconnection, and suffering.

Shadow work leads us directly to the heart of the matter, where we gain understanding of what's holding us back from authentic aliveness and what we truly desire for ourselves. Shadow Work is a deeply meditative experience that begins with grounding and meditation and then moves into visualization and dialogue with shadow aspects. This is generally done lying down with eyes closed although can be done sitting up.

  • Transforming Touch therapy is an attachment-focused, neurophysiological modality utilizing hands-on healing to gently intervene with an individual's nervous system. It focuses on the idea that the body holds emotional and energetic imprints from past experiences, and that by working with these imprints through gentle, intentional touch, a person can release stored tension, trauma, and negative emotions, and increase nervous system regulation. The therapy encourages a deeper connection between the body and mind, promoting healing on both physical and emotional levels.

I use a variety of touch techniques to help you feel relaxed so that you can access your body's natural healing abilities. The process is designed to help you feel safe and supported, which can lead to reduced stress, pain relief, and an increased sense of well-being. It's a non-invasive and nurturing therapy that can support you in your journey through developmental trauma healing and personal growth.
